Nothing wrong with the Lexmark 8300. fax has never worked wiring incorrect. do not have a dedicated line

No problem with alignment. prints letters and colour photos fine.

what does it mean not working, what does it mean not wired correctly,

Please be more specific. Is it new? did you connect it to th PC?
what dod you do that leads you to say wiring wrong?
