Trouble with memory card

I suspect that you did not format the card with the camera before you started using it. The card MUST be formated by the camera before anything is put on the card. you can solve this by inserting the card into a card reader and using the computer to delete all files and folders on the card. Then put the card into the camera and format the card with the camera. do not use the computer to format the card. i hope this will help.

Transferring mp3 files from memory card onto computer

Those multifunction devices require several drivers. I assume you loaded the drivers onto the computer. It sounds like you are using a memory card that already has MP3 files on it. That may be a problem if the camera or software is expecting to see the files in a certain folder on the card. Try uploading MP3 files to the camera and then see if you can move it back to the computer. Since you just got it, check and see how much time you have to return it to the store.
