Bosch Dishwasher stopped draining

If you hear the pump running, but little water drains, then check hose, and clean out debris trap at bottom of dishwasher. That gets plugged and needs occasional cleaning.

Not draining all the way modelshx45p02uc/59

There will always be some water in the sump at the end of cycle, this should never however be above the level of the filters. This is why the machine will always run the pump for a while before it fills when you select a new cycle (to remove stale water). There are specific dishwasher cleaning products available which you should be able to buy from the bosch website accessories shop. Hard water should not be an issue in a dishwasher as it has it's own build in softener unit (this will only function correctly however if you maintain the salt levels)

Washer is stuck in mid cycle. Have turned of power as the current monitor light is red. maybe electrical problem. when i turn power on again the lights flash on for a few seconds then turn off again.but...

Step1:
Use the diagrams in the manual to locate the food trap. Remove the top of the food trap and empty out any debris inside. If there is standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher, watch to see if the water level recedes after you do this. Replace the top of the food trap.

Step2:
Use the diagrams in the manual to locate your dishwasher's drain hose. You should see this under the sink. Check both connections to see if there is any water dripping, which is a sign of a possible drain-hose clog. Check the outside of the hose for any visible bulges. If the hose is broken or decayed, you will need to replace it.

Step3:
Clean out any food or debris that is trapped within the pump assembly. Reassemble the pump unit and reinstall it in your dishwasher, following the instructions in your manual..

Bosch dryer warning sounder for container full will not stop

Hi
You need to remove the left side panel, this is the side where the drain container is, once removed you will see the drain pump with two pipes coming from it, remove the pipes and top cover, disconnect the wiring, remove the pump unit with the clip, clean the float unit and pump, also remove the congealed mess in the water trouth as this is what holds the float up and makes the machine think the drain container is full.
I bet you will find this will cure the problems you are having, it did with mine.

Bosch dishwasher is not draining all the water at end of cycle. In the bottom of the dishwasher under the mesh trap there is about a cup of water remaining after each cycle.

This is normal with a Bosch. They don't really vent out when they heat, and use a type of evaporation technology to dry the dishes. Best bet is to make sure first that the filter in the bottom is clean, (the little circle thingy on the bottom, turn it a quarter turn and pull it out, run it under cool water till it's clear, then put it back in the same way.) If the water is bothering you or is beginning to make a bit of a smell in there, leave the door cracked a little after you empty the dishes out. unfortunately though, it'll always leave water in the bottom. European technology.

I'm not sure which model it is, but the dishwasher will not empty. What do I need to do to get the water to empty?

If the water doesn't drain from your dishwasher, check these:
  1. Drain line/air gap--A clog in this part is the usual reason that a dishwasher doesn't drain. Remove the drain line to clear any debris from the hose or hose connection at the household drain line connection. Reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again.
  2. Pump--You can reach the pump from inside the dishwasher. Remove the lower rack, spray arm and support. Look for an impeller, a device that spins around and forces water through the spray arm. This is the wash impeller and beneath it is the drain impeller that pushes the water into the drain port. Replace it if found defective or worn out.
  3. Drain valve/solenoid---The drain valve may have a solenoid with lever that sticks or frozen and prevents the dishwasher from draining. Free up the solenoid and lubricate the lever.
  4. Belt---A certain brand of dishwasher uses a belt to drive the pump. Replace it if broken or worn out.
  5. Motor---Check it if turning or working.Turn the rotor manually to see if stuck and free it up. Replace if defective, it is not serviceable.

Bosch dishwasher has water in bottom after cycle is complete

Hi

Kindly check for the following :

Check for hose kinks or food plugging drain hose. Start at the drain port exit.
Check the check valve and drain hose for debris.
Check pump motor for reversing during the pump out make sure the dishwasher is pausing between the wash and drain cycles letting the pump/motor reverse for the drain cycle.
Check pump motor assembly for a drain solenoid, during the pump out make sure the solenoid makes that distinctive "clunk" noise
If you have recently installed a new garbage disposal, check knock-out plug at connection.

Check pump impeller for damage.
Check that the water inlet valve isn't seeping fresh water into the dishwasher when off.

Please contact for any further clarifications.

A Fixya Rating would be appreciated if.

Thanks

Dishes are not clean due to insufficient water. Arms are clean, strainer is clean, water supply is OK,some soap is still in opened dispenser

Disassembled solenoid, found plugged inline strainer (caused by water shut-down in building to replace recirc. pump) Pulled and flushed filter basket, problem solved. Solenoid must be removed to access filter which is in sol. body. I hope this can help anyone who does'nt have a tech manual or flow diagram.
