I can't install wireles printer on my laptop I'v tryed everything

Hi Janice,

I see that you have tried everything that may help fix the issue you are experiencing.

The only recommendation I can give you right now is to create a different user profile in windows and see if the issue will still occur on the new windows profile created, and if this happens possible that there is something wrong with the windows installation on your Computer.

To Create a new Profile in Widows regardless of what version you have, Follow the steps below:

Assuming that your Existing Windows profile is already Administrator got to
-Start Click on Control Panel
-make sure that is is in Classic View where you see all the icons and details. once you have the list showing
-click on users
-in users click on create new user this will give you the option to create a user and ask you if you want to copy all the files that your original file has to the new profile and also make sure that you make the new profile set to administrator as well, which I believe is needed just incase it works you can remove the old profile that was having issues.
-once you have created the profile it may take awhile to finish if you have a lot of files that need to be copied to the new profile.
-once the new profile is created, close all windows that are open and click start then Log-off user to be able to log-in to the new profile that was created.
once you've logged-in to the new profile test it and see if the same problem will occur like on the old profile you had if you think the issue is not happening anymore and that you are satisfied that everything is OK, check all your files first if they are all copied to the new profile created before deleting the Old profile with problems.

I hope that this will help? I cannot find any other options that could be causing your issues in the old profile except for a corrupt windows profile.

go to network and sharing centre and click on manage network connections. delete the profile of your wireless and connect again to create a new wireless profile

You can your phone to your laptop via bluetooth or by data cable.
To access internet from your laptop using phone is something using dial up networking.To use dial up networking you have to create a connection profile.First go to control panel->network connections->in that network connection take a view at side bar their is create new connection.Then new connection wizard window comes up click next and choose your profile(if u want to use it via bluetooth choose ddial up modem).

Starter CD.On the menu, click the button for the connection method you want to use(wireless).Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the software installation.
After that we are going to create a wireless profile.
Open the configuration utility for your computer’s wireless network card, then do
the following:
Create a new wireless profile with the following values:
• Communication mode: ad hoc
• Network name (SSID): hpsetup
• Security (encryption): disabled
Activate the profile.
Wait two minutes for the device to obtain an IP address, then print a wireless
configuration page.
On the configuration page, verify the following for the device’s network settings:
• Communication mode: ad hoc
• Network name (SSID): hpsetup
• The IP address is not 0.0.0.0

you will need to enable internet connection sharing. Some laptops have the ability to create a network.

The easiest way to do this is to create a wireless network, and have your ps3 join that network and essentially use the internet through your laptop.

Create a New User Profile like Test Account and try printing from that account and check if its printing from there..
How to Create a New User Account ?
XP
Start>Control Panel>User Accounts>Create New Account it shoul be admin...
Vista
Start>Type User Accounts in Search>Click User Accounts>Manage Another Account Create New Account..
If its able to print fine in new account then that means the profile of your old account is corrupted..If its doing the same thing in new account also ..Reinstall the Printer driver in the following Method..
Disconnect the Printer
1.Click>Start>Control Panel>Printers and Faxes and delete the The Printer that you are reinstalling the driver for delete all if there are more than 1 printer of the same.
2.Go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs> Uninstall the Lexmark related Programs
3.Restart the computer
4.Start > Run > Type in "cmd"
5.now you will have command prompt Type this and hit enter "net stop spooler"
6.Click>Start>Run Type in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers" Hit Enter
7.You will have the following folder open rename the W32X86 folder to W32X86.OLD
8.Restart the computer
9.Insert the Lexmark CD and start installing the software Note : Connect the Printer only when the installation is prompted to connect..

This should defnitely take care of your problem..
Note if you are using vista try this first
Start type msconfig open that go to tools tab and disable UAC and restart and check..

1. uninstall everything,delete all previous settings files. clean the regestry with a reg cleaner or manually then restart.
   

         Then try installing it and create new settings. Just before you clean everything, 
         I suggest you take notes of all the values of all the fields so that you can re- create.
          2. get the latest drivers, if you can.


If you still have trouble, go to the vendor.

Your network profile is damage create a new one, once the profile get corrupted it will never allow to connect to any outside networks due to security measure.

the user profile has gone corrupt. it needs to be deleteed. if you cannot do that you can create a new user profile as administartor and acess documents in her profile and print it from the new profile
