General cleaning start with forward and rev button with good contact cleaner and then go inside use air blower or compresed air(radio shack)check:lever which make the movement of forward and backward confirm it is clean-check of selonid and it is return spring has a good tension change it if it is weak or broken.apply a light grease over all moving parts.
