Problem for LaCie External USB 2.0 500GB 7200 RPM 500 GB Hard Drive

The computer does not recognise the HDD. Starts up with orange light, then you can hear the unit trying to start up, and tries a couple of times before giving up. Light ends up yellow.

check hdd on different system or change the bus cable then check , if the problem persists then its the problem of hdd
