The DVD does not recognize any DVD or CD when they are placed in the drive.
Device Manager status: ! HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50N
I have uninstalled the driver, shut down the notebook waited removed AC power, removed battery, for 5 Min, re-booted and the HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50N driver can not be reinstalled by VISTA.

Dear Sir,
It is not problem with your hardware,it is problem with your operating system. This happens due to invalid registry entry on the system files,you may clean the registry by using glary utiliy or any other free registry cleaning software,it may solve your problem.If it is not you have to reinstall windows operating system by formatting your system drive.
