Problem for Samsung SGH-E350 Cellular Phone

My Samsung SGH D900I screen suddenly went blank and dark on me. All the other functions of the phone seem to be okay but the screen is dark such I cannot read sms or see anything on the screen. However when I'm outside where it's sunny, I'm able to bleakly see whats on my phone's screen.
