Re: master reset

Just suggestion. Kindly verify your memory that is one source of blue screen. the other one is if you have installed new hardware. u can diagnose the system by uninstalling the new hardware and reboot. if you have the same problems after such method accomplished. most likely the power supply should be examine first, the memory i stated above. and also the motherboard. based on the problem u stated, a processor is most likely good. hope u enlighten.

You may have files that you want to keep that you saved on your hard drive, but if you haven't backed them up then you will have to lose them because the only thing you can do to fix this is use the factory recovery disk which will wipe your hard drive clean.Just put the disc into the disc tray and you should get an option to start the recovery disc when you turn on the computer, it will tell you to press a key to start it which might be f3 or something different, I'm am not sure what key but when you have done that you should be able to start the recovery and wipe the hard drive clean and it should solve your problem

What happens if your computer's screen turns black

Try restarting the computer - turn off from the power .. only if you got a blue screen and computer goes off - that will be a problem
but black screen could be a monitor or power issue ..
try to restart and check whether you get the picture or sound or both

The l226wtq goes black

Try shining a flashlight on the screen, or without the flashlight, try to see if you can distinguish anything on the screen at all, if you do, the backlight is dead, or the monitor has an internal most likely unfixable problem.
