We just installed a Phase Linear uv8 in my buddies truck and the screen does not appear when we play a DVD. We can only hear the DVD but we can't see anything on the screen.

This feature is used so that drivers will not attempt to watch tv while behind the wheel. When my wife and myself take long roadtrips. She likes to watch a movie. the volume does not work when i put in a cd or dvd it only works on radio?
