Question about Televison & Video
I have a Hughes model SD - DVR 80 hooked up to an 18 Inch x 20 Inch Triple LNB DIRECTV Multi-Satellite Dish Antenna. I have four feeds coming into the house - two of which are connected to the above DVR. I also have an older Hughes box - model HIRD - D2 that I want to use in another room. I just hooked it up - the phone connection is good; the card is still good; but I'm getting no signal from the dish. My DVR is pulling in a strong 95 to 100. I have tried connecting using all four cables with the same result.
My System Test shows the following:
Signal - unlocked
Tuning - trying
Phone - OK
Access Card - OK
Front panel - OK
When I test the strength of signal, I pull all zeroes. Any help would be appreciated.
It is multi sat multi sat compatable! My opinion is buy a powerd multi switch you can getem at radio shack or from a sat dealer that will clear p your prolem i belive also check all your rg6 coax ends u may have a a bad splice or a fraid shiel wich will make your reciever do the same thing but hope you can fix it
