While recording the Camcorder goes in and out of focus. If I keep the camcorder running and either zoom or pan out the subject refocuses, but if i hold at that level of focus the subject becomes blurry...

It sounds like you are either too close to the subject or you need to flip the focus switch to automatic.
The Auto/Manual focus button is located on the left side of the camcorder under the LCD monitor flap.
Other than that, does this happen only in low light? The camera will have trouble focusing in low light usually.

E6100 flashing on lcd screen

The E61 is an internal error code shown when the motor is not moving. I will look up the specific details when I get to the shop and update this with the required fix.

Black LCD and out of focus

My LCD screen has also malfunctioned - some-one else has also posted a similar problem and has been told its to do with a carbon cable connecting the LCD screen to the camera that needs replacing.
Not sure about the viewfinder problem - is there a control to adjust the focus, or is that what you mean by the viewfinder lever?
Go to http://www.sony.co.uk/article/id/1218032872969 to register with sony for repairs.

Focus issues

Hi,
My reply is bit technical. Your camera requires Flang-Back Adjustment.
Above said adjustment will set focus lenses in correct order / position to obtain crispy focus as it was before.
There are few special tools designed by Sony used in Flang-Back adjustment and only Sony Service Centers can perform such adjustments. Non-Sony repair shops do not have such things.
Just for reference, below view shows required tools for adjustments in this model.

Fuzzzy display

If it is not a setting problems, and if the black and white is only on LCD and not on picture, then it is a problem with the LCD. Probably just the ribbon cable not well inserted into the connector.
Camera must be taken apart to fix this problem. Better to have the job done by a technician at a camera repair shop.

Panasonic D-Snap SV-AV100 Camcorder. No picture on LCD screen

Just to check - give the manual a read through but I suspect this is a component failure and needs a repair job.
