Just put a new battery in last weekend. Now it won't start again. Might have left the lights on, but a jump pack won't start it. It just clicks. Any ideas?

Several factors could be this item, terminals and cables dirty, clean thoroughly with water and baking soda, rinse and let dry, Alternator not charging the battery (take it out and have it tested, if you have not done so) Faulty starter or solenoid, take out and have checked . I did all of the above and the next item was what i needed to fix my vehicle, faulty ignition switch (52.00 part) this takes about 2-3 hours to change out. Good luck!

Put new (rebuilt) starter on last weekend, this weekend drove it for 3 hours, parked it, 4 hours later went out to go somewhere and not even a click, battery is good, headlights are on, battery cables are...

Bummer. Sometimes rebuilt starters are not actually rebuilt, but repaired. this means they fixed the issue, but did not replace bushings, brushes, etc...

try hooking up a wire to the actuater terminal of the starter (usually the small one at 2 o'clock position) and connect test light to it an ground the test light. Run this wire inside the cab so you can see it...When you turn to start, this light should light. Run vehicle until problem happens again and if the light illuminates, the focus is the starter, if it does not, you need to look at the entire circuit. Look carefully at neutral safety switch and connections..

2003 Trailblazer- no power after key stuck in ignition

Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.

2001 Pontiac Bonneville won't start

have you not left any load on overnight?..like park light or left the door partially open and the dome light would be left on?

have the battery recharge and the next night, make sure that no light would be left on the car.

if it would drain out again, have it recharged again, use it and on the night, make sure no light is left on the car, then remove the positive pole on the battery overnight.

the next morning, put the positive cable back and start the car.

if the car would start, then no problem with the battery, if the car would not start, then return the battery because it is defective.

tnx 4 using fixya,
