Bluetooth not recognized after pairing?

Samsung A870. Paired with Jabra bt500 bluetooth, but upon turning phone and bluetooth off and back on , bluetooth will not interact with phone. It's on the list in the settings section, but error meassage states that this device is not supported. It works fine until I shut the units off and turn back on again. I don't understand?

I just had this same problem. I solved it by turning the iPhone Bluetooth off and then back on, after which the pairing (with passcode 0000) worked properly and so does the headset.

I need the manual that came with my jabra blue tooth

Having the model number of the Jabra would be extremely helpful.

Most Bluetooth devices have a default pairing ID of 0000.

As for turning the volume UP or down, depending on what ear it is worn on, is nothing but trial and error.

Turn on your phone, go to settings (or tools) and turn on bluetooth. Select find device:

Turn bluetooth JABRA on and HOLD the power button until the Jabra flashes. (this means it is sending a bluetooth signal) Your phone should see it and ask for a pairing code. Enter 0000

A message on your phone should indicate you are paired.

Good luck.

Bluetooth pairing

It can only be connected to 1 at a time and you have to set it up so it won't just grab a random phone.

Jabra bt8040 is not pairing with iPhone 3gs

No problem. When Jabra is off, press and hold till green light turns blue. On the iPhone: settings, general, bluetooth; switch to on. It will search, then it will list the Jabra BT8040, not paired. Highlight the "not paired" line, and it will start to pair; a few seconds later, it will say "connected".

Lg env2/ jabra vbt85z bluetooth pairing

You will have to go in and reconnect it. When it says allow, be sure to push yes. You may have accidently turned of the internal connection in your phone. Go to bluetooth menu in your phone, click the bluetooth that is yours, and click connect. I did that once, and this fixed my problem. I dont think you can have it paired to more than one phone at a time. It wont know which one to answer. Good luck.
