Will wash clothes but will not condition them, error code fo5 appears
F05 is normally a fault cause by the pressure switch - often caused by a blockage in the exit hose of the washer. if the water cannot leave the washer in time the f05 will come up because the pressure switch has not told the machine it empty. on hotpoints there is a filter inside the exit pipe from the drum to the pump which gets blocked up. need to remove and clear out the sump assembly and this normally fixes the f05 error. if this does not cure the issue then the pressure switch is probably faulty but its notmally just a blocked pipe.
Hi
F05
error is a motor issue and to solve this error you have to check all the
connections to the motor and try to remove & then reinsert/replace the
motor brushes. You can also check all the connections to the motor and if
everything appears fine then the motor should be replaced. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.
