Question about Pioneer SD-P5795W 57" Rear Projection Television
I just had our board fixed and the tv was working just fine. As of yesterday, the colour is only showing Green and Blue. I believe the RED projector bulb isn't working. Is there a place to buy just a new red bulb or does the entire Projector Lamp need to be replaced? If so, what brand does Pioneer use for their lamps?
Websites that carry the lamps, don't seem to carry Pioneer, so I am thinking the tv must use a different brand like GE, or something...
This site has a manual that may specify the type of lamp. The manual costs something, with no guarantee you'll find what you want.
Select brand "Pioneer" and enter the model "SDP5795W" then click Find; on the next page click on the model number SDP5795W to go through to the page that lists the manuals. One is a service/repair manual that I expect would have information about the lamp or bulbs.
The TV is more than 10 years old, and with "planned obsolescence" it may be hard to even get lamps now. All the very best of luck.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
