SOURCE: Error E1 & E2

you posted this in the Kenmore 19233 Sewing machine problem but this is what we found for my machine

Well this happen to me today and let me say that I called the customer service numbers on my manual and let me say dealt with really rude people They told me a number to call which was my local store and talk to repair center there and when I called it directed me back to the same people who game me the number and was not very nice to me when I told them their number didn't help me. So after being so upset at my machine and the company I bought this machine from Found out the only troubleshooting you can get is take it to the store to send off for repair just shipping alone I was told was 80.00 plus parts and labor to fix it. My husband said when he got home he'd take a look at it. So I waited for him. He took the whole thing apart searching for a reset button found none. However he did find behind the button panel you know the buttons that you select your stitches and such. Well behind that is a electronic panel that has 2 fuses in it. I only recommend doing this if you are electronically capable. Or find a good friend that you trust that is. Check those 2 fuses see if they are good if you have no way to test them like my husband has then just replace those two fuses with the exact same fuse amps and such take them to Radio Shack or someplace that can help you make sure you get the right fuses place them back in the machine put it back together turn it on and presto you have 80.00 plus parts and labor that you'd be charged at an inflated rate in your pocket and your sewing machine will work. Mine did the same as the person who said that when you lower and raise the needles one way gave the error one way gave a normal screen... Except mine if the needle was in one direction it gave Error E1 and the other direction Error E2 and in a certain position it gave me the normal screen. However when turning it one the needed didn't move and adjust like it does when you turn it on. Ok I hope that this solves your problems and hope you all will call and complain to the company who provides no over the phone service. All I wanted was to know what the code stood for. They couldn't even tell you that. My old machine would tell you what the error codes meant in the manual this company doesn't cause they want to rob us of money by sending it in. Still have to pay shipping I was told if you even have the warranty... Oh and in my case only one of my fuses was bad. It was the one that is white and not clear the Ceramic fuse not the glass. Good luck hope this saves you all a lot of money like it did me...And had my machine the same day instead of being without it for weeks

SOURCE: What does it mean when washing machine has F5 and E2 error

If it is a Whirlpool then The F5 E2 alert indicates the washer can't engage the lid lock because there may be an obstruction in the lid lock area.
Please check the lid lock area and remove any objects in that area. Also verify there are no clothing items in the way.

Otherwise, provide the manufacturer name.

Haam washing machine error e2

Never heard of the make 'Haam"? Perhaps you mean 'Haier'? Anyway, it might be a generic drain error

An E2 Error code indicates that the washer is still draining after 8 minutes. Check the following: Check that the drain hose is not more than 391 ?3" (100 cm) from the floor. Remove any clogs from the drain hose.

What does the code E2 mean in a Kenmore Elite washing machine mean

Hi Ryan, an E2 error code is a stuck button on the control panel. Try pressing the buttons slightly off center to see if they free up, if that doesn't clear the error code then the control panel needs to be replaced. Hope that helps.

What does E2 mean?

Error Codes mean different things on different machine brands. It is an error message indicating your machine is malfunctioning. Usually your owner's manual will have a list of error codes in the Troubleshooting Section that describes the problem and suggested resolution. If not, then search the internet for your machine's:

How do i fix an e2 error on an electrolux dishwasher?

Hey friend, thank you for your inquiry!

The "E2" error code means that thermistor/turbidity sensor has failed. This can be corrected by replacing the turbidity sensor or main control board. I would suggest contacting a professional to come and properly diagnose your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

My washing machine toshiba aw-9760s Kept showing this "E2 -3" problem. Whenever i close the lid to start washing my cloths. Anyone here can help me? In need of answers A.S.A.P

I also have a Toshiba AW-9790S, and encountered similar problem. The E2-3 would occur sporadically and halt the washing programme. E2-3 error occurs when the washing machine detects that the lid is not properly seated and locked during the rinse or spin cycles. I took mine apart and resolved my problem by cleaning the contacts for the switches. There are 2 contact switches at the lower right side; 1 for sensing the lid is closed and 1 for sensing that the lid lock is engaged. Both the switches were slightly oxidized which prevented current flow and the sensors from working properly.
