It depends on where the leak is coming from. If the water pump is leaking, it has a hole on the bottom of it. You will see a trail of dried anti freeze coming from the bottom of it, indicating a bad water pump. It's best to dry everything off, crank it up and let it come to operating temp and check for where the leak is coming from. It may just be an old hose or loose clamp.

Hey there Dave,
Had the same thing happen to my Wrangler about three years ago.
It was the weep hole too.
I drained the coolant, dried the weep hole and plugged it with a small amount of that solid epoxy they market to fix holes in gas tanks. I refilled the radiator and the plug held.
It's still holding.
Just an alternative option

if the fan is working properly, the only thing left to check is the radiator...
i may be clogged or damaged so the water can't travel in it properly...
