the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My Acer aspire turns on shows windows logo then goes to black screen, what can I do?

Depending on your version of windows, I would trying starting in safe mode to see if the computer does boot. If it does, then you want to restart again, go to advanced boot options and select "start windows with last known good configuration." Access advanced boot options following the steps at this link. Is there another way to have my T3500 run in safe mode other than F8...When I press F8 while my computer is booting up it gives me a blank screen.

If you stop windows from booting up all the way by holding down the power button during the "loading windows" screen, until it turns off. Start it back up and before windows loads it will give you a menu, with options like "start windows in safe mode with networking" or "safe mode with command prompt"

Windows is failing to start. Giving me option to launch startup repair or start windows normally but not doing anything when I choose either option, just counting down from 30 then coming back to same...

You may have to do a system reformat to reinstall windows on your computer. Put your boot disk into the disk drive on your computer, and restart it. As the computer turns on, press F12 to access the boot menu.

The screen turns black and stays like that

Normally it's because the resolution is set too high for the monitor. This has happened to me when I switch a computer from a flat screen to a old "biggy-size" monitor.

try rebooting the computer and BEFORE you see the windows splash screen, start pushing the F8 key...this should bring up a menu...select VGA Mode...it won't be pretty, but once you're in..right click on the desktop and change the solution (try 800x600). restart the machine...that should work.

My computer starts up perfectly fine, i click the " start windows normally" button, and it loads. Then after loading the screen turns black ( I can still see the LED light and cursor) PLEASE HELP!

When it ask you how you want to start the computer the select Last known Good Configuration. It should boot up normally.
Then go o the control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager and check for any devices that didn't install (the ones with the yellow ?)
You will need to reinstall these drivers.
