Unfortunately, many rubber parts and "bands" age as these units get old, or from repeated use. The drive band stretches, falls off or breaks...
I recommend contacting the manufacturer if the item is fairly new or contacting an antiques record player supply(off the net or ebay)
if the unit is old....they will have your part if you can give them the model number and make of your rig.
As far as installing it, if you are handy, you can do it yourself..if not, you will have to take it to a "generic "fix-it" shop in your city...or mail the complete unit to a repair person.

May be a broken belt. See if the turntable lifts out. There may be a circlip that holds it in or turn the player upside down taking care with the arm not to damage it. If the base comes off you may be able to see the belt. They are usually only the size of a skinny elastic band. If your turntable is a direct drive ( No belt) the motor may have failed.

Take the broken one to a hardware store and check the o-rings. You just might find one the right size.

Pioneer turntable is powering up but not not spinning?

Turntable Drive Belt

The chances are the rubber drive belt has either broken or stretched so that it has fallen off the drive pulleys.

You will need to gain access to the underside of the turntable to replace it.

With most turntables the process will be to secure the tone arm (a rubber band will do the trick) before turning the whole thing upside down and unscrewing the base.

Replacement drive belts are easily available on the internet. Search by make and model number of your turntable

Turntable won't turn

Hi!

Without any other information (and assuming you've checked to make sure there is power to the turntable and that it is turned on), the likely culprit is the belt drive of your turntable. Most, but not all, turntables have a "belt" that looks like a big rubber band on the underside of the turntable that connects the turntable itself to the drive motor. If the band has slipped out of place, stretched too far from age or usage, or broken, the turntable won't turn. To find out if this is your problem, gently lift the "platter" straight up (it should easily slide back into place) and visually see if the "rubber band" is in place. If it is stretched too far or broken, a new one should be availble form Teac or your local electronics supplier. If, by chance, you have a direct-drive turntable (unlikely), the problem will probably need professional work.

Good luck and please let me know if this helps!

Suitcase Turntable stopped turning

Check the drive band- it may have come off the pulley. But if it is a new purchase then perhaps it should go back to the vendor
