'Cartridges Missing' error. I have just replaced the belt on my 750c plus and reassembled. However when I restarted the plotter, the plotter does not recognise the print cartridges promoting 'Cartridges missing'!

Hardware issue - reassembly of cartridge was incorrect. The spring array on the carrige assembly that hold the cartridge assemblies firmly in place was incorrectly assembled. Thus the cartridges were not held tight and thus not making contact with the cartridge ribbon sensor.

HP 750C Black cartridge quit in the middle of plotting chart. Replaced black cartridge & does not make contact with something. Cleaned contacts, turned off plotter, disconneted cables, reconnected & turned back on. Still says that black cartridge is missing. HELP!

It sounds like the data ribbions were not put back in correctly. You should try reseating them.

750c plus was turned off and now says printer cartridges missing

Pull out the cartridges, turn the plotter on and install the ink cartridges one at a time - making sure each one is recognized. One of them may have gotten a power surge and had the electronics burned out - - replace that cartridge with a new one.

Hello, the plotter should be seen in your print and fax preferences (apple menu, system preferences, print and fax): In the print and fax preferences panel, you can click on "+" at the bottom left of the window, you should see your plotter appear in the window, and click on the "add" button Best regards

DesignJet 750c Plus System Error 040502

The bad news is that this seems to be a fatal error of the main board. The only time I have had a similar error is when the carrage motor shorted out and blew the main board. This probably did not happen in your case but something appears to have taken the board out. The main board is speculation, but I think I am correct, sorry, Dave

turn and unplug for 30 secs then open and remove / re-install each ink barrel according to your manual. You will have to go through the ink installation on your keypad one by one.

Hp design jet 750c plus. while plotting auto cad drawing,i command it to plot black/white (mono) but it plots all in color instead.I selected mono button on the printer as well.

Your plotter driver needs to be set to either black or greyscale. The driver will overide the settings on the plotter unless you set up the plotter in manual. ie the pen thicknesses, colour etc are set in the control panel to manual. The driver takes priority always.

HP 755 CM CARTRIDGE MISSING ERROR

This normally points to a worn ribbon on the carrage. Make sure the ribbon where the cartrige makes contact is really clean, if cleaning make sure the plotter is turned off. Sometimes a build up of ink can cause problems. The bad news is that if the ribbon on the carrage is worn it firstly comes with the carrage as a unit, and secondally the carrage is no longer available from HP
