2006 Isuzu I-280 the engine vibrates when i start it and drive it and engine light is on and blinking.

A vibrating engine is often a simple case of a misfire or crossfire. Often a simple tune-up will solve the issue. If the engine is misfiring bad enough, it will set the Engine light. If it is really bad, the Engine light will blink indicating that the car is in open-loop (limp) mode. Have the vehicle computer scanned to determine the cause of the failure and repair.

My car has started to shudder and the engine light plus the ABS and T/C lights have come on. What does this mean?

When the check engine light comes on it will usually disable the traction control which is also tied into the ABS as a safety feature resulting in their lights to come on. The shudder may be caused by a cylinder misfire which in turn should cause the check engine light to flash when the misfire occurs and will keep the check engine light on. Have the computer scanned for codes to see if a misfire is present and correct from there. It may be as simple as a spark plug/ignition coil failure. When the problem is corrected and the codes cleared, the lights will go out

Check engine light is flashing and cruise quit working

DO NOT DRIVE IT.....Driving it when the check engine is flashing may cause a simple problem to become a major problem if not fixed right away. Cruise control will always disable when the check engine light is on, when cleared, it will work again. Blinking light means serious malfunction, needs to be repaired right away. This can be many things, from simple multiple cylinder misfire, to something more serious.

My Rinnai convector 516 heater filter light flashes constantly and after a while I can't feel the heat coming out of it. Is ther something simple I can do. I have washed the pull out filter screens at the...

Just to explain each flashing light is telling us something. These units display error codes to us by which light flashes. The only fault that makes all lights flash is if there was a power failure whilst the unit was operating. I sort of doubt this one being the cause unles the actual power lead to the unit or the electrical plug itself is dodgy. I need you to be certain of which lights are flashing, the ones between the high and low marks are the important ones, each one means a different thing. My gut feeling is this is not a simple problem and will require a good technician to physically sort it out. I always recommend getting these serviced and cleaned every year anyway. Even if I could tell you whats wrong, it's very unlikely that it would be a simple fix for a DIY person.

My philips avent 1q24 electronic steam wont come on

Most likly a bad capacittor on the little circuit board inside the unit. As it is thermosealed you cant open it without voiding the warranty. The repair however is fairly simple and anyone with rudamentary electronics experience can fix it for you. If you are still having problems let me know on devar11@yahoo.com

1999 denali-5.7- looses power and starts to shimmy...then shifts down and struggles to stay at speed...service engine soon light begins to flash and eventually comes on solid. This happens intermittently...

flashing check engine light is a sever engine misfire that will cause a catalytic convertor failure which is about a $1500 repair in your denali. Have someone scan the code for you and let us know the codes stores in the computer are. Could be as simple as a tune up to fix the problem or bad as a fuel pump

Wont take a picture unless I turn off the flash

Here are some simple things to try first for a camera that won't take a picture when the shutter button is pressed, or with an inoperative flash. They won't work for every case, but they're worth a try:

Green light flashing & no picture on Toshiba 40pw13p

There is problem with the lamp. It might need to be replaced. The lamp unit is on the bottom-left side of your TV. Loosen thumb screw (by hand) to take the the lamp unit door. Using a screwdriver, loosen two screws of the lamp unit and carefully pull the lamp unit out.
Put a new lamp in reverse order.
