Question about Tomtom ONE GPS Receiver
Our TomTom has been working fine for the past four months. However, last week I arrived at a destination and when I was ready to return home, the GPS would not turn on. When I have it plugged into the car, the green light at the top next to the on/off button is illuminated, but there is nothing on the screen. I've tried the reset button, but that did not work. I'm hoping there's an easier solution than sending it in for repairs which could take weeks. Any ideas? Could it be the battery? Thanks! i went to switch my tom tom on and it would not work. i tried to reset and even tried to see if the chip was not in properly but it would not work. it is showing a orange screen with the tom tom picture. please what do i do as i rely on it to get me about Funmi
If its a battery problem the unit still works while charging!
If not it sounds like the OS or SD card has become corrupt.
you'll have to wipe both clean & start again...
tomtom will talk you through this either via an email or on the phone.
