I have a pre-paid phone and just bought a regular at&t phone. Does anyone know what I have to do to get my smart chip from my pre-paid to work in this new phone?

Bought a Samsung GT E12001 mobile today, the assistant put the simple and battery in I have brought it home there is no bars not receiving texts or calls

go into call and put in #06# and note imei number that comes up. Next phone the mobile network provider and tell them you want to check you phone got connected properly to their network when you purchased it , give them the mobile phone number and the imei number if they ask for it.
If it is a pre paid phone you may need a recharge of credits onto the phone. The dealer or assistant should have done this for you if needed and explained the pre paid system to you if you are on pre paid. You may have an internet portal with the mobile phoine network provider that can manage your pre paid.
If the mobile phonw was connected via wi fi you should have an application somewhere on the phone to manage recharging credits. if pre paid
You can't do it on the mobile data if your credits are zero.

That happens to a lot of things. The manufacturers have it to where you have to spend money new items. Fact in point, you have to buy new ink cartridges when you get a new printer the same ink cartridges you bought for your old printer is a different number even though it is the same brand.

It says sim blocked emergency call sos and i cant do enything

it means your sim will no longer function either due to unpaid bills or it ran out of minutes if it is a pre-paid phone.

Emergency calling works on all cell phones, even if they don't have a service plan....except for some smart phones which is not so smart.

If you know of anyone else with T-Mobile (even if they're a contract user), try your SIM in their phone. If it works, there is an issue with your phone and you should contact T-Mobile for replacement or repair options.

If it doesn't work, contact T-Mobile to verify that you have funds on your account and that there are no issues with your network or coverage.

My husband bought phone card for solo prepaid phone and i still do not have my 10-4 service after 5 hrs

I have a samsung solo pre paid cell phone and do not know how to change the password for the voicemail, I can't find my instruction book or a contact number that you can actually talk to someone that isn't automated. Anyone know how to change the voicemail pasword?

Iphone 2g lock after reset.

Find somebody with an AT&T sim card, put it into the phone and plug it into itunes to get it up an running. Otherwise if your not using AT&T you're gonna have to jailbreak the phone to use it. If your a prepaid AT&T customer, you can activate it but you gotta call AT&T at 800 331 0500

Smart chip

You can try 0000, 1234 or the last four digits of your cell phone number. If that doesn't work to unlock it then you need a new smart chip.
