The 40 amp fuse is too small. 1000 watts = 12 volts @ 83 AMPS. Bigger power wire my friend. If you want to sell, let me know.

yes, but you would not get the same performance as you would if you gave them the suggested power. I have found that it is always better to use a more powerful amp than your subs are rated for (as long as it is clean, high quality, low distortion power). I have had the best luck with name brand amps (kicker,rockford fosgate,phoenix gold,etc...). I hope this will be helpful to you.

Being that I do not know how tall you are. It's hard to give you the dimensions on placing a 15 behind the seat of a single cab. Being that you already have that will fer I can only suggest to build as long a box as you possibly can from one side to the other approximately 60 inches in between the seat belts. As deep as you possibly can at the bottom and place the sub as close to the bottom as possible. This will allow room for the magnet. Good luck.
