First of all you will need a player of some kind, you can get one that will connect to a computer via usb port. Software there are plenty around and they vary in price, I saw one that look good by MAGIX on the Amazon site, they also have big discounts on software at the time of posting.
Video files are big so you need a big hard drive. I use a 500GB Western Digital portable one. Its really good and it will easily store your files, shop around the price is cheaper online.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How do I archive out to my computer to be able to provide to authorities an incident clip.

We need to know the make and models of the equipment that you are using. You might also want to consider using a camera to record the recording if all else fails.

My evesham pvr160 suddenly wont power on - fuse is ok.

Check its power cord first. If found OK, check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

I try recording from a home video to a dvd and it does't recordc_

You don't specify what you are playing the 'home video' on or how you have made connections between equipment.
There are input terminals under the front, left hand side, flap for recording from external video equipment. There are S-video input and Audio/Video inputs (yellow, white and red). Before selecting record you have to Press (Input Select) to select the input channel for the equipment you have connected.
I hope this may help you achieve what you require.

I am looking for a wire diagram for Lennox rooftop unit GCS3-953-250V-10Y, does anyone have one, or know where to get one? In desperate need of one. Thanks

Can you supply more information? Lennox has no record of this number in its current records or archives. Please be sure the number is correct. What type of equipment is it? Furnace, AC, IAQ, control?

How can i make write protected content in my CD so that the data cannot be copied to any machine without permission. Which version of Nero supports for it and how to achieve it?? If any other software...

there are many solutions for ur issue...but the solution is based on what kind of CD u plan to create...as the solutions differ....
google and look for a solution that u need...
also there are many softwares than can RIP any kind of CD even though they may be created using a copy protect...many of the movies CD/DVD are copy protect(it's difficult to make a disk copy of that CD/DVD)....but the same can be played on any DVD player...the movie signal from the DVD player that is received by the TV can be recorded using any recording equip...(VCR, Camcorder, digital recorder, computer using special digital recording equip etc) and the same when is available in a PC as a E-file the same can be just copied on to a blank DVD...it's a known fact that crackers/pirates are more smarter than the ones who create a new tech....
so even though u may be able to create a copy protected CD, it I am sure can be pirated/ripped by many means...

Need to get video off dvr

From the user manual page 71:
5.2 Quick Archive to CD
Archive to CD on the Disk Analysis Screen by selecting the time and date and pressing the record
button. The QuickWave Setup must be set to ON from the Archive Setup → Quick Wave Setup menu
(see section 3.15). The Archive Incident menu should appear.
1. Use the Jog to modify the time parameters and use the
Shuttle to move between the Start and Stop fields.
2. Press the Record button on the front panel when satisfied.
3. The CD Writer will open the CD tray when completed.
The video may now be viewed on any PC equipped with a CD-ROM.

Hi I just bought a Wharfedale DTR250 twin tuner HDD. How can I connect it up to be able to record sky programmes? On my old VCR all I did was set the VCR to EL1 and the selected Sky programmes recorded OK....

My solution was to return item to Argos, got my money back and will now go ahead and order a Sky Plus Box. Apparently these type of Recorder will not record Sky programs!!

Service Manuals for PVR160 by Evesham

I'm not sure if this will help, but here is a possible contact to try and get a manual. I know that Evesham.com went out of business. but I found this information on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evesham_Technology

A group of former staff from Evesham headed by former Evesham employee Robin Daunter started Tewktech, a company selling computers and offering repairs for a variety of brands including Evesham Technology.

good luck.

DV-PC recorder

DV-PC Recorder is a Windows XP only application that enables you to record images and sound on the tape in the camcorder and on the computer's hard disk by connecting a camcorder equipped with the DV CONTROL function to a computer using an IEEE1394 (DV) cable. DV-PC Recorder has the following features. 1. You can record movies simultaneously on your computer's hard disk and on the tape by pressing the start/stop button on the camcorder. 2. It enables long, continuous recordings, which you cannot achieve with the tape alone. (Approximately four and a half hour's worth of recording will fit on a 60GB hard disk.) 3. You can start editing the movies on the computer right after recording, as the images and sound are saved on the computer's hard disk. (Optional editing software is required to edit movies) 4. You can record movies on the tape in the camcorder and on the computer's hard disk by controlling the DV-PC Recorder from your computer.
