Every time I connect my Buffalo Hard disk (HD-PE320U2) and try copying data it shows IO device error. I don't know what to do! help me. Formatting did not help!!!!

That error signals the fact that the motherboard can't communicate properly with the controller of the disk. It's a hardware fault and it's unfixable - this disk is dead, replace it.

Error 01-0134-0000?? It says the tool could not get HDD physical information? Is my hard drive fried? Or what else could it be? How do I fix it?

I suggest you download a free HD test and check the HD. I like to use Seagate's SeaTools, which work for ANY brand of HD. Go to the Seagate website here:
    http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/seatools
and download "SeaTools for DOS", Be sure to get the "v1.10 (Text) English", the ona under the "ISO CD-ROM Image" column. This will download an ISO CD image that you need to burn onto a CD. This will create a bootable CD that you use to boot your computer from (no OS needed). Then, run the HD tests for as long as needed (it may take a couple of hours to run, depending on your HD's capacity). SeaTools will diagnoze your HD and tell you if there is an irrecoverable hardware error.

    Red Light/Blue Light I/O Error

My nx2 is working again after having the "red light/blue light/I/O Error" problem. I just:

    1. turned off my computer
    2.unplugged the HD,
    3. took out the HD from the enclosure and plugged it back into the enclosure,
4.started up my computer without the HD being plugged in
    5. after my computer had been on for a minute, I plugged the HD in and my computer recognized it and had the proper mixture of red and blue light coming from the HD, indicating it's working properly.

    Good luck!
