I DON'T KNOW. PLEASE CHECK YOUR OWNER'S MANUAL OR THE RETAILER FOR A PARTS LIST AND SOURCE. SOMETIMES ReStore LOCATIONS MAY HAVE REMOTES

SOURCE: no connection between the fan remote and Ceiling fan

The remote-controlled fans that I've seen all have DIP switches in the transmitter (the "remote") and receiver (up by the fan). For the remote to operate the fan, both sets of switches have to be set to the same code. If you happened to bump the DIP switches (and change the code) while replacing the battery, the fan would no longer respond to the remote.

It's been four months since you posted this problem, so you've probably figured that out by now. Still, other users may run into the same problem occasionally.

Universal remotes have a code search button or sequence. Turn on your appliance, activate code search, & press the power button until the appliance turns off, then press the set button.

Hello, Karl -

Do you know at what bricks and mortar store your Chien Luen ceiling fan was purchased? I do not find any source for a Chien Luen 52-DA ceiling fan replacement parts on line.

If the fan was sold new by Home Depot, I suggest you contact Home Depot Customer Care. This is the email address:

Best wishes.

How do i change the direction of the rotation of the blades on a model 52-DA? I understand it's done through the remote control but I don't have the instructions for the remote.

There may be a switch on the side of the wiring housing to effect reverse rotation. If the remote does not have a fan reversal button, it can't reverse rotation.

Need help to find one blade to ceiling fan 1yw2 model 52-da no:0045130 upc 082392082642 made in china

First of all, you're not going to find anybody who's going to sale you one blade. You'll have to buy a set of blades because they are weighted and balanced in sets. Try calling 1-877-527-0313 or 1-800-749-3267.

Light not working by pull chain or remote.

I would try removing the remote part. Connect the two main (light & fan) wires direct to your house main. Then if the pull chain works then you just need a new remote unit.
