Try putting your thumb on the triangle holes, where it says pleomax on the top.
You can then slide that bit off and the usb plug that came with it actually slides in there and not in to the computer.
On either side of the mouse you will also find to sets of grooves which are there for you to grip so you can slide the silver surround off, the batteries should go in either side.
Hope that helps

There must be a small door. Have alook and you might see a small Phillips screw holding a small door closed. It could be under any padding on the base or it could be on one of the sides. If you can't find it get in touch with a good computer shop or the one where you bought it and they'll only be to pleased to show you and sell you a new battery.
Good Luck.

Help me please ^^ i just bought this mouse and when i plug i, it doesn't install and my PC is saying that it doesn't recognize it

Try replacing the batteries and connecting the mouse again. If you just now bought it and it doesn't work, ask for your money back. There are a lot of negative reviews for this mouse.

How to set up wireless keyboard and mouse

hello, attach the mouse and keyboard receiver to the PC and make sure to install the drivers if it not plug and play. the drivers usually come in a CD plate giving to you when you buy the keyboard and mouse. once that is done make sure the mouse and keyboard are turned on. ie, you must have inserted the battery into the source and usually a switch will be there to turn it on. hope it helps

I can't start my Pleomax SCM 4700 wireless mini mouse. Do I need batteries or install a driver for this ?

Hi.

The mouse needs 2 2 AAA batteries.

The manual is available here. Click on download at the top of Pleomax page and select the model.

This mouse does not need drivers. Plug in the wireless unit and the drivers should be installed automatically. Put batteries first.

Here a forum on the topic.

My dell 4700 pc does't let the mouse or keybord

Make sure the connections are OK if they are wired. If they are wireless, you may have to sync them so the device is recognized by the computer. Likewise, make sure the batteries are strong if wireless. If they are after market, you may need to install drivers for them, which should have come with them. And after all of that, right click on MY COMPUTER, go to PROPERTIES, then DEVICE MANAGER, and look for any yellow exclamation points or question marks. If there click on it and look at the properties. The drivers may be corrupt (it happens) or need to be re-installed, rolled back, or updated. If you want you can right click on the yellow marks and uninstall the device. When you re-boot, windows will re-install the device and the driver. Good luck and I hope this helps. I can't operate the mouse. its not working.

Install fresh batteries, turn it on and make sure your bluetooth dongle is installed and active. If you have never paired this mouse with it's receiver, then you will have to put them both into pairing mode, and once paired you should have no problems.

Unable to connect to the synaptics pointing device driver

I am assuming that the mouse has batteries installed in it and the CD was used to install the software program for the mouse.
Did you try Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
