Question about Toshiba Televison & Video
This vertical split is a perfect 50/50, the "dull" half is a softer tone than the bright half. Nothing in the manual to help. I have tried changing the "Location" setting between "Store" and "Home" but this makes no difference (I was thinking Demo-mode). It does this on all inputs. Any ideas? Can I upload or embed a photo here?

SOURCE: leapster 2 screen to dull to see
The leapster 2 screen is so dull you can hardly see the writing and programs. Very dark in colour. You can see colour arounf the edge of screen but the darkness overpowers the screen.

Go to menu on your remote control and select picture setting and try selecting "default" setting to seeif you like the color, if not adjust contrast to about two thirds of the way and brightness to your liking and color to about the middle.

What should I do if my TV is stuck in Retail mode?
Your TV may have been set to Retail Store mode, which is mainly used on the shop floor.
For home use, we recommend that you set the TV to HOME mode, which will allow you to change the settings.
To change to HOME mode follow the steps below.

First you have to check if voltage and data are ok at the Y sustain board and the Y driver boards are not running hot. Even if you know how to replace these panels you must have a scope to adjust the v-set up and v- down. Not just a simple PNP. Trouble shooting a plasma is not a short time process to do it correctly. Please let a service center look at it for you.
