You have to provide more information than that. Look in your owners manual for the trouble shooting guide and see if that helps. If you can not do that e9ther take it to a repair shop or just buy a new one.

Homelight weed either won't stay running

Several things to try: 1) Spray a LITTLE carb cleaner in and try to start Do not do this more than twice. Let set for a day..then try to start. This should help clean out any gunk. Spraying anymore will just dry up important parts. 2) If after priming and it runs and then dies then the diaphragm is suspected. If this is an old model..it may be just wore out. 3) Inside the gas tank there should be a filter..makes sure it is not clogged or wore out 4) Carb could be bad. Could cost more to fix ...throwing parts at it. Talk to local small engine service after trying these things..they may have other suggestions.

Have two string trimmers, both hard to start. shindawa homelite 62061 & toro TB21EC. H/L does great job when it starts. Toro won't come up to speed. Have cleaned carbs in both and checked plug

When you say it will not rev up to full speed, that sounds to me like a blockage either in the spak arrester in the muffler outlet, or the exhaust port is blocked, or the muffler itself is blocked.

How to replace string in trimmer Homelight UT2006

Hello,
To replace the string, you need to open the center cap by unscrewing the screw in the middle of the rotatory wheel. Then you will see the channel where the string runs through put the string there and close everything.
Thanks.

Hi, was just wondering what the fuel ratio is for the Kawasaki Homelite HK-18-B model TD 18? Thankyou

I have had many 2 stroke engines in my day, and all with different ratios... Homelight always uses a 50-1 ratio.

Fuel Adjustment for a Homelight Edger

Does it operate well with the choke full off or do you have to have it partially choked to get it to run? Also, how old is the gas and have you tried to run any cleaner through it b/4 messing around with the carb? Your local auto parts store sells a product called Sea Foam Cleaner. You can add that accordingly with your oil and gas mixture to help clean out any dirt in the carbs.
