Question about Keurig B70 Coffee Maker
Almost returned a new machine, because of the strong taste of plastic, it was nasty! tried washingout the water res with hot soapy water and then running about 8 large size brews and the problem was eliminated.
I had the same problem and I discovered that after running 3 resevoirs full of water through the machine at 192 degrees , it got rid of the plastic smell. Set the cup size at the largest size mug and then just open the lid and close it , hit brew and let it fill the cup. Dump the water in the sink and repeat until you go through at least 3 resevoirs. The smell should be gone by then.

I tried running 3 tanks through my at the highest temp and still taste plastic. I have read elsewhere that you can run the regular descaling procedure as outlined in the manual with white vinegar and supposedly that takes care of the taste/smell of plastic. I just got this B70WR as a replacement for my old B70, hopefully I don't have to get another replacement.
