now with the 3.0 or newest firmware you can do it.
earlier firmware dont unless you have jailbrake and installed cydia installer... there are a lot of apps thet made this forwarding sms...example: MySMS, QUICKSMS, iREALSMS, etc

The iphone 3g is not capable of forwarding texts without the upgrade to the new software for the iphone 3gs... Plug your iphone in, check for update and update he software.... but you could wait till the 26th for mms update too.

u upgrade u r iphone firmware to 3.0 or higher , then you can forward messages to your friend
