Download (s in Save, not Run) the driver and the additional Exif-Print soft ( install them in that order) from http://support-au.canon.com.au/EN/search?canonsearch=1&lang=EN&category=Printers&series=Colour+Bubble+Jet+Printers&model=PIXMA+iP1200&menu=Download

You need to download the software from Canon website.
Here download pages:
Official Canon Drivers and Software
Canon USA:DRIVER & DOWNLOADS
After you finish downloading, find saved installer file.Unplug the printer USB cable and run the software installer.
The software installer will tell you when to plug in the USB cable.
