Delete the photos from your computer. Most camera software has the option of copying or moving the pictures to your computer. Moving them will free up the space on your flash card. Sometimes the software will let you delete the photos directly. If this does not work, then take the card out and find a friend with a card reader in their computer. They should be able to help you open the file on the card with the photos (often named DCIM). Then you can delete the photos just like you would delete a file. If you can find a friend with a card reader, take the card to a photo printer and beg a favor.

How can i get photos from my Internal memory to my S.D. card? can't see an option on the menu and can't view photos from the internal memory whilst there's the memory card in it.

Put the card in the camera. Press the Playback button (right-pointing triangle). Yes, you won't see any pictures from the internal memory with the card in. Press MENU/OK to bring up the playback menu. Use cursor-up/down to highlight "Copy" and press cursor-right. Press cursor-up/down to select "INTERNAL MEMORY TO CARD" and press cursor-right. Select the desired option and press MENU/OK.

Full details are in the "Copy" subsection of "The Playback Menu" section of the manual (page 70 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download one at

I have a Philips PhotoFrame - SPF3408/G7 (SPF3408T/G7). When plugged in no picture comes on screen. Screen does not light up. I viewed pictures yesterday - but - I don't get anything today. I know...

Keep in mind that Digital Photo Frame can display the same photo continuously for 1000 hours without any damage to the LCD screen.
If you can enter to the settitgn menu, first make sure the system is properly powered. Then use a pin to trigger the reset button located on the side of the power button on the back to restore the system...

zjlimited_475.gif

If this isnt work try...
  1. Load all the photos you want to upload to the Photo Frame in the root directory of your memory card.
  2. Power off your Photo Frame by pressing the Power button.
  3. Insert the memory card into the slot in the frame.
A For a Compact Flash card, firmly slide card in the larger slot end first and face down.
B For an xD, SD, MMC, or Memory Stick card slide card in the smaller slot end first and face up until it locks into place.
zjlimited_476.gif

  1. Restart Photo Frame by pressing the Power button.
  2. After a few seconds, all photos in the root directory of the memory card will be automatically added to Photo Frame. The root directory on memory card will not be emptied after this operation.

Please do not remove the memory card just after inserting it in Photo Frame or when Photo Frame is counting the Photo.
Wait until the screen is stable.

NOTE: This operation does not apply to photos in sub-directories.

If anyone of this procedures work fine, I suggest contact your local service (check if even is underwarranty).

Good luck.

How can I erase my sd card? I thought it was empty, but when I went to print from my disk only, it said I have like 1600+ photos on it! I should have only had 152, according to what I thought I'd erased....

Hi,
First of all make sure the write protect lock is off on the left hand side of the memory card, the slide lock should be in the up position.

Press the MENU/OK button on the camera to display the menu. Use < or > buttons to select ERASE. Then use the up/down buttons to select FORMAT, then press the MENU/OK button.
Press the BACK button to exit the menu.

Please be aware that all data is erased from the card so make sure to back up any file you might want.

Regards.

I didn't have sim card in the camera when i took photos now

I recently noticed a mini SD memory card in my cellphone and even though there was data on the chip which I had put there using the SD adapter and my laptop none of the data was viewable on the cellph screen. I went ahead with the Format command on the cellph. It erases my data but I believe I will now be able to store multimedia to the SIM as the Good Lord intended.

SD card full in spite of all files deleted - what do do?

OK, so if you want to delete the photos off your s.d. card, Simply open the 'terminal' application located in the utilities folder.
Then enter this into the box:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
killall Finder

That will then make the .Trashes folder of the sd card show up!
Open it, go through the '501' folder, and there you go! Delete everything!

This happens because the card has it's own hidden trash.

Oh, and if you want to hide all the hidden files and folders again, simply open terminal, and enter THIS text:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE
killall Finder

Cheers,

Tristan

Camera says "Memory Card Full" but the card is empty...

Hi, First, lets try formatting the card. But be aware that it will erase everything on the card. 1 Turn on the camera 2 Press the Menu button 3 Toggle once to the left to get the Setup menu (the one with the hammer/wrench icon) 4 Toggle down to Format 5 Select OK and press the Set button. To perform a low-level format, press the up arrow and then the right arrow to add the check mark. After you do this, exit the menu by pressing the Menu button. Take some still photos first. Download them to the computer but don't delete them from the card yet. Disconnect the camera from the computer (or if you are using a card reader remove the card). Delete the images from the card by using the menu in the playback/review mode. Let me know if this solves anything.
