Question about Coby Audio Players & Recorders

Open Question

No singing? Ok, well, my Coby video/mp3 player worked fine for a good while, but one day while at a jobsite, the music shifted somewhat. I cannot remember doing anything that would or should have damaged the player, but for some reason, the sound changed. What happend is that the sound turned somewhat choppy. Also, I can't hear the voices of any of the singers from any song that I play and some instruments that are supposed to be heard can no longer be heard. I have tried multiple ear phones, and the result is the same everytime, so it has to be the player itself. Any help?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Audio Problems With MP3

First thing you wanna do is to try another set of headphones. If it still sounds muffled then theres a fault in the audio output section and these things are non user serviceable. Your gonna need to send back to the manufacturer. Good Luck

SOURCE: sandisk mp3 sound problem

There is something wrong with your sandisk's hardware. Just bring it to where you bought it and they will do it for you. It's under warranty I presume.

SOURCE: Fuji Labs 1GB MP3 player

Tranfering files

Coby no longer keeps a full user manual for this product, but you can use Windows Media Player to transfer your songs onto the player. It is not compatible with iTunes, but you can use the Rip tab in Windows Media Player to rip songs from a CD - you have to go into the Rip Options and change the Rip format to Mp3 first. Coby does have a video on the process at:
http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=tutorial

You can also load mp3 files from a music service such as Limewire into your computer's "My Music" folder - Windows Media Player should automatically detect the songs, but it may take a few minutes.

Good luck!
