I don't know. best guesses include there is a metal washer, coin or similar is under one of the clothing lifters: a drive belt has weakened and a some of the belt material is touching the inside of the enclosure; an unused wiring harness is touching the turning drum; one of the idler wheels has a flat spot or is missing a bit of material.

Stop them from trying to send. Tap on the message or the dot by the message. You should get different choices depending on what your phone is. Pick the one that applies, and stop or delete it. Sometimes you have to tap tap tap until something pops up. Or try just bringing all your messages up and pick those to delete

My starter continues after I turn off ignition?

Try tapping on one of the bolts on it one you should be able to tap to turn it off and the other if you tap should make it spin. By tap I mean hit with a wrench or pliers or something hard you can fit into there.

I sent you a clarification request a few minutes ago. I read your question a few more times. If your meter is set to ohms (continuity) with the buzzer or sound, then you should get continuity on the operating thermostat. Do this; go back to the operating thermostat and tap it a few times with the handle of a screwdriver or something and retest. See if you have continuity then. If you do have after doing that, then try the dryer again.
Even so, if this does work at least you know the problem and I would replace it anyway. It sounds as if your element and other thermostats are fine as you suggested. Let me know if you can.

Dryer wont spin, motor making humming sound

sounds like the motor is bad,try turning the drum by hand,if it's hard to turn there could be something stuck in the blower wheel or the belt is jammed on something or the motor is bad

Gas dryer turns off early

It sounds like a faulty high limit thermostat. This is a small round, black device mounted on a metal plate and attached to the internal ductwork with two screws. It can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. It should have none. If it has continuity, then it is faulty. I will attach a photo of a thermal fuse and high limit thermostat for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

My Whirlpool dryer LER3624EQ1 is overheating

If you open the dryer quick enough during a cycle, you will see the element glow. That's normal. It sounds like a belt problem. Something is causiing the drum to drag which will cause the belt not to turn as easy. This, in turn, will make the motor work harder and overamp as it is trying to move the belt but it is just sitting and spinning and burning the belt. Look for something like a rear drum bearing or tensioner pulley causing the problem. Continuity test just show that there is a complete circuit. This is confirmed by the element getting hot. Also, if you motor is not turning at the correct speed, this will slow down the amount of air being moved across the element. This will also cause excessive heating of the element.

Good luck and hope this helps.

Kenmore 80 series- wont shut off

it sounds like the timer is bad; expensive
also, the only way to get out something that fell into the blower box it to unplug the dryer and reach into the exhaust hole and try to reach it from there and if that fails then you have to take apart the machine.
