Question about Toshiba 27AF45 27" TV
No blinking red light, not sure how to get set in service mode
Well if you have no power you are never likely to get it into service mode!
You have more than likely blown the Power board IC chip which requires a service person to change the whole board and ensure it has not compromiseed the video boards and convergence chips as well. This is not DIY type of fix. If lightning was the cause you may be able to claim fusion on your household insurance policy. Speak to your service engineer about this.
