You dont say whether this is a newly developed problem or an unexpected one. Has it ever powered these items? If yes, then the unit needs to be checked out that it has not got bad brushes on the generators commutator.

1) check the wattage required to run each one. and compare it to the watts output of the Gen Set Microwaves are usually about 600-1000W and most generators of a portable nature are about 600W 25amps

A/C require a generator capable of 1KVA to power any decent size A/C other than a small window unit for a small caravan and certainly not a Mwave A/C at thye same time without showing signs of variant output( dimming)

Generator burning my electronics up

take you generator in and have the output tested for correct voltage and sine wave configuration
electronics rely on a perfect sine wave ac current as a manufactured sine wave affects electronic components such as capacitors, transistors and diodes
generator sets that run an alternator ( not an inverter ) have a pure sine wave and have less affect on electronics.
go google and type in search headings like ---sine wave, inverter sine wave, sine wave affects on electronics, alternator operation and inverter operations and then you may get a pointer as to why your inverter gen set is affecting your electronics

Can't find the transfer switch, and could it go bad. Shore power and generator power works to the main panel box, but won't charge coach batteries

although it is possible to do separately most times the transfer switch is internal to the inverter , and the fact you mention that inverter is not charging batteries tells me your fault lay in the inverter all or part of it is not working , look at it carefully these have sometimes two reset breakers on there cases

Your question doesn't make sense as it is written, but if the real question is what size generator do you need to start the air conditioner I might offer the following....

Look on the air conditioner product label and you will find information concerning the supply voltage and current. This is a 2 ton unit and it probably requires 220VAC power. Also on the label will be a value for the maximum OPD (over current protection device). This indicates the maximum fuse or circuit breaker that can be installed in the power feeder line for the air conditioner. You will need a generator that is capable of supplying this amount of current during the start up of the air conditioner. The value is usually about 2-1/2 times the normal operating current that the generator will need to supply continuously. This is because the air conditioner is full of motors that draw a lot of current when starting up. If the generator can't supply sufficient start up current, the motors will not start and the AC will not operate. As a result, the generator size is usually relatively large in comparison to the actual size required to keep the AC running after start up. This is also why AC units are not typically powered from generator power. Good Luck!

I have a 2001 Monaco Diplomat. In the morning before it is really hot out yet my roof air will not start even though it is set at a temperature that should cause the Ac to operate. When it does start it...

As these can be had for 650 bucks with searching online, putting parts on a 10 yr old unit quickly becomes a poor finacial move and even if rectified, leaxes you with an old unit. The thermal overload may be opening, some are servicable. you really need to see the reason its stopping , and whats stopping it all? or just compressor? is the power interrupted? is the compressor pulling amperage when off/ is it shorted to ground? a start assist device, a KICKSTART brand hard start kit is best shot or new ones best move, the kickstarts the strongest help you can add to it now. itr tired likely.

Winnabego 2006 how to turn on TV, using generator

Start generator, allow a few minutes to warm up.

If everything works as it should, you should now have AC power in the coach (look at microwave, air conditioner, etc). If not, then start checking the breakers.

If the breakers are on, then go to the generator compartment, open it, and check the breakers on the generator itself. If those are on, then your transfer switch has likely failed.

Some appliances don't like the power that is produced by a generator due to the unsteady nature of frequency (it starts high, and drops as loads are added). If the TV works on shore power, and not when generator is powering the coach (and other 120vac appliances work), this is probably what is going on.

No power to coach when generator runs but power

Do you have automatic switch over in your system, or is there a receptacle where power cord stores, that you need to plug power cord into, for power from generator?

My EXL 8000,,,,is running but no AC output. Circuit breakers will not reset? Thanks

There should be a "full wave bridge" which consists of three diodes that converts DC to AC. Try your local alternator shop before taking it in to a certified repair center.

Whirlpool GH6177XPS G2 Microwave

Your generator may be putting out a square wave instead of a true sinusoidal (sine) wave.

There is usually a circuit in the microwave which monitors the AC line for timing purposes, and a square wave may not be interpreted correctly.

I would consult the manual or contact the manufacturer or installer.

Non-operational in RV when Onan generator and Xantrex inverter are on

Are you still under warranty with your RV? If so, take your RV back to them and try to get this problem fixed through them. You know more about electronics than I do (LOL) however, I do believe the RV sales/repair should be taking care of this issue for you.

I on the other hand own the Majestic brand washer and dryer and I am very dissapointed with them. The washer is broken already and is only 15 months old. Ugh!

Good luck, I hope your issue is a simple fix.
