I cannot figure out how to set up my voicemail for my alcatel one touch. How do I do it?

Voicemail isn't set up by the phone it is set up by your cellular provider. Usually is a paid for add-on to your plan. You need to check you have it. Then you dial into the number and set it up.

Search Results Once voicemail is set up, new messages will be played automatically. ... To access the voice mail system after the initial setup, press and hold the 1 key for 2-3 seconds. If prompted, enter the voicemail password to access new messages.

The "Password Skip" feature lets get into your voicemail without entering your voicemail password. This feature only works when you call into your voicemail from your Virgin Mobile phone.

Here's how you can set up Password Skip for your Virgin Mobile Voicemail:

1. From the main menu, please press 3 for personal options.
2. Then press 3 for mailbox setting.
3. Then lastly, please press 2 to turn password skip on or off.

It is best to have password skip so that you won't have any problem even if you forgot your password.

Dont know voicemail password

Are you referring to the voice mail on your cell? What company do you have service with? If using cell, you may be able to try dialing 611 and then press the send or call button. then select the option for reset password. (When you received the phone, were you able to put it in your name with your account info? If so, you may be able to provide answers to the security questions with your account to reset your password.) Let me know if this helps.

What my voicemail 4 digit passcodefor 2402620085

Your voicemail password is a 4 digit number that you enter when you want to listen to your voicemail messages from any other phone other than your mobile phone - this is called remote access. This voicemail password gives you the protection to know that only you can listen to your voicemails.
It is vital that your password is set to a random 4 digit password. To change your password, all you need to do is:
  1. Dial 173 from your mobile
  2. You will then be asked to pick a 4 digit number, and then press the # button
  3. If you are happy press press 2
Your password is all set up and you will be prompted to enter it whenever you want to listen to your voicemails through remote access. You will only need to use this password when accessing your voicemails from another phone. You will not need to use this password when accessing your voicemail from your own mobile phone - you simply dial 171 as normal
You can reset your voicemail pass code by dialing 611 or 1 800 331 0500
From the main menu, press3 (To get help with voicemail)
Press 2 to reset your voicemail pass word
Enter Billing Zip code
Customer will receive a text message to their wireless phone with their new voicemail password.
OR
You can log into your "My Account" from the www.cingular.com

Choose a wireless number from the dropdown menu and select Submit.
A text message is sent to the wireless phone with the new password.
