How far do you get?

I read up a little bit about this cammera and it comes with a program called Easy Share. Are you running that?

Tell us the steps you are doing and at what point you are getting stuck.

One easy trap people fall into is to connect the camera to the computer before they install the software. Many devices that connect with cables in this way have this proble so it isn't just a Kodak problem. If this is the case the steps to get rid of the problem is a little bit complex but I should be able to find a description of how to do it.

Don't be worried about being 80. My next door neighbour is 82 and he is learning about this stuff too :) He is lucky that he can call me over the fence lol

Kodak Easyshare M380 says internal memory full, but cannot see any pictures. I would download them to the computer but can't see them.

Turn the camera off..remove the memory card...turn the camera back on and you should be able to see the pics on the internal memory. To download them, you must first go into the menu and find "copy" which gives you the option to copy the internal memory to a memory card.

Please tell me how to transfer pics from my M380 digital camera to my computer. What should I do first on the computer to accept the pictures? Then need step by step instructions to transfer the pics.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as iPhoto on the Mac or Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ) on Windows.

You might want to consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

Kodak M380-I have had this camera for a few months. The pictures are coming out grainy. Is there anything I can do so that the pictures can come out clear?

Check your resolution settings, set to the highest resolution, if that doesn't solve the problem its probably a camera issue.

As its only a few months old, it should still be under warranty, go back to the vendor and ask them to demonstrate the camera to you satisfaction. If they can't request a replacement or refund

Blurry Pictures

Could be two reasons...1. You need to press the shutter button half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus before pressing the rest of the way. 2. You could be moving as you press the shutter button.

Kodak m380 wont read sdhc card

Hi

There can be a few reasons for this.

First ensure that the little lock protect switch on the card itself is not in the lock position - see image below.

Next ensure that the camera is capable of handling the size of card you are using (Maximum supported card size is 32 GB for the M380).

Finally have a look at my FixYa Tip on this subject as this is troubleshoots a common source or card read failures on these cameras. (See link below). If you find this solution helpful please do take a moment to rate it and thanks for using FixYa.

I have lost all my pictures! Help

Kodak has a default folder where the software downloads pictures. For older version of Easyshare it is found on the hard drive under the Kodak Picture folder. For newer versions, the folder is found in My Documents. Do you know how to use Windows Explorer? You can also do a search using .jpg and see what the computer finds. I'm really surprised to hear your pictures are located on the D drive. Most older comptuers the hard drive is C and the CD-ROM drive is D. Are you sure you got the letters right?
