Switch the tenner's to the point "W" position and eliminate the jaajaars clockwise then divert the lens to point swarfit and explode the jointers until you hear a click and then switch the yop over .

On ebay you can purchase replacement screens for like $30 or so. The samething happened to mine and I ordered a screen. I am going to try and do it myself
I would suggest taking it onto a corner shop that specialises in this kind of thing. They may be able to fix the screen and then you can save your data that way.
I would personally suggest going to ebay. They carry many replacement parts for cell phones such as the Flex cable that you need, and are quite inexpensive as well. I guess figuring out how to install it is the tricky part. Good Luck!!!!
