SOURCE: 1st burner goes out when 2nd burner is turned on

I had the same problem. They original regulator and hose were poorly designed for this model. There isn't enough room underneath without crimping the hose. I bought a standard regulator and shorter hose combination a Home Depot for about $20. It makes a 90 degree turn coming out of the tank and does not kink the hose.

It was worth the $20.

I am trying to convert a Jenn-air model # PRD3630NP from LP to NG I assume this model is convertable becouse it has a convertable reg on it. Do thay make a kit to do this or is it just a matter of ins

Jenn Air use to make a kit that had the proper orifices for the burners and the valves. The regulator is adjustable for the conversion by simply reversing the main screw. It was intended to be convertible. However, since the model is discontinued, you can no longer purchase the kit (or the backsplash). Apparently Jenn Air believe that when they stop making a product, no one will ever need a part for it again (cough, cough).
Good luck trying to track down a kit. I've tried everywhere in the country and a few shops in Canada. I have a gas appliance expert who thinks he can accomplish the conversion by getting a few of the parts from the LP model and then modifying the rest. The orifices are basically the same, only the LP diameters are different. Theoretically, the ports could be filled and redrilled, but the hardware store was fresh out of 1.07mm bits, so I'll pass on trying this on my own.
If anyone has a LP model they want to convert to natural gas, I'll gladly swap parts.

Jenn-air model 720-0061 LP burners only light on one side cleaned with wirebrush and blew out with air?

The crossover for the flame to "jump" to the other side of the burner is clogged, rusgted, etc. It looks like a straight cut line on the rear under side of the burner. Nexgrill told me that the burners did not have an adequate amount of "finish" on them. Call them and get all new burners for free under warranty, Since 2004, I am on my 5th set of burners.

Flare behind temperature knobs on jenn-air gas grill

This seems to be a problem for most Jenn-Air users. The burners are defective, rusted or clogged and allowing the flame to "back up." You most likely have a melted electronic ignitor as well as gas valve damage. The new burners that I received this week for my model 720-0061-LP are 1/2 inch shorter than previous versions. Time will tell if this fixed the problem. I would call Nexgrill and get all new burners and inspect the gas valve area for damage. Since 2004, I am on my 5th set of burners, glad they were free since I have a lifetime warranty on my model.

Conversion from electric to lp gas

Simple answer NO.

Unless Jenn-air has a conversion kit. (highly doubt this)
It would be a serious undertaking to switch out 2 burners for LP use.
Gas tubes, igniters, electronics, regulator, gas jets.
Not to mention the modifications changes needed to the stove top to make all this work. That gas regulator has to go somewhere and piping from tank/regulator/burners.

Not saying it can't be done mind you.
But think about it long and hard before committing to this job.
Small gas leak can become a huge headache later.

There are adjustment screw at the end of the burner tubes that allow more or less air to enter the burners. try opening or closing these screws

Grill jenn-air will not heat past 100 degrees

You need to pull the burners out and scrub open the side feedholes on the burner. These ususally clog up over time reducing the heat available for cooking. Also, sometimes the Gas regulator goes bad over time when left outside for a year or two. A bad regulator will put out less gas as it fails closed.

Jenn Air lp grill won't light with the ignitor button

I just finished cleaning our starter on our jenn air. Over time, corrosion, rust and battery acid builds up on both the coils on the lid (positive side) as well as in the battery chamber and negative tip inside the chamber. I used sand paper and sanded the coils in the cap and the chamber. The coils need direct connection to the battery to create the charge. There are no instructions on this that I was able to find. I figured it out after about 3 hours of fussing with it. It worked immediately once I placed the battery back in. You may also need to clean the electrode tips near the burner. I used a q-tip. Hope this helps.
