You will see a little "button" you can slide up and down at the side. This controls the write protection. Just like it the other way and that should do it.

And if you are referring to some phone, if this error comes up on the CellPhone's screen, then there are 2 possibilities, the 1st is if your Phone is a Symbian Phone, then its easy to remove this error, and 2nd, if it is non-Symbian then, only formatting with solve the query, means loosing all data.
Regards.

You have to take your Memory card out of the device, and there will be a small slide switch on the side, there will be some indication there.

To make it easy for you I've attached a snap, click here to see.

When i send video files via bluetooth from other mobiles to my nokia 6300, the message displays on the screen " file sending failed".Audio files received successfully but video files not. there...

Generally video files are bigger in memory than audio files. So firstly you check the memory status of Phone memory not for the mmc memory. And Check that the memory Card which you are using is less than 1GB Coz more than 1GB mmc is not supported in this model.Even if the mmc has enough space of memory however the size of the mmc is more than 1GB we cannot do this thing sometimes. So try to do what if not.
