Depends what you're using it for and what Blue tooth services you have setup with your blue tooth management application.

First make sure that you have allowed "Stereo....." as a service when you add the S9 as a blue tooth device. If the stereo service is not added, the device will not be able to use both headphones.

After you've verified that the service is enabled, there are two things to consider, are you using it as a headset for two way communication or to listen to multimedia broadcasts?

When you use it as a two-way microphone/headphone for an application (typically VoIP e.g. Skype, Messenger phone), it has to use the "Headset" setting otherwise the microphone won't work.

Using this setting, it is only capable of one-ear (mono) to receive the sound. It's unfortunate, but the only way it functions in that capacity.

If however you are using it to listen to a one-way audio application e.g. music, You Tube or other multimedia broadcast, make certain that your computer sound is set to "Stereo Headphones" for the S9 BEFORE you start the application.

The point here is that it must be set to stereo BEFORE the application starts. If not you have to close the application completely, set your sound to Stereo for the S9 and then restart it.

THE INTERNAL WIRE CONNECTING BOTH HEADPHONES IS BROKEN. THIS PROBABLY HAPPENED WHEN TWISTING ONE OF THE HEADPHONES TO HEAR ONLY THROUGH ONE OF THEM. TRY FEEDING EEACH HEADPHONE INDEPENDENTLY WITH ITS OWN CABLE USING ONE OF THOSE PLUGS TO SHARE MUSIC FROM SAME SOURCE.

My skullcandy agent headphones are only working on the left side,,,,,its blank on the left side

Sounds like there may be a problem with the cord.
Try plugging in your headphones and playing some music and moving the cord around. If the sound cuts in and out then you have a lose connection and will need to replace your headphones.

Ive a problem with the volume of the headphones, the right one works fine but there is no sound from the left side....ive tested the headphones on other electronic equipment and the headphones work the...

Hi,,in most cases what causes one side of the headphone to work is because, the wire that is connected to speaker inside the headphone might have cut and it's not contacting properly.

What you will need to do is to open up the head phone (left),and check if the wire inside has not cut, If it has removed ,then you will need to put it back with soldering iron and a lead...

But if the wire inside has not removed and they are intact, then you will have to replace the left speaker .

Hope that helps...

Thanks for using fixya...

The Right side does not work.

i just bought the turtle beach x1's and had the same problem only it was the left side not the right and i was pushing the green audio connector cable to close together with the av componet connector and just slightly removed the audio cable from the av connector cable basically just slightly remove the headphones from the connection port on whatever you are connecting it to if that dosent work then most likely you have a lose connetion port on your device and will need to replace it or replace the device alltogether if the port can not be replaced.

Headphones: only left speaker works

yes if you have a multimiter and a soler iron, just check the cable where is moving allot, for example for the headphones near the volume controler, near connector or near you eyers is more likely to brake

Bose Headphones only works on left side.

Have same problem. Play with the plug in the socket. I'll bet it you can occasionally get both working. Not a solution since it probably won't stay working. I have an old plug and it fails too. I'm afraid they did't make their plugs to the right tolerances. Used to work once. Annoying for this expensive a headphone.

Headphones only have left channel on Denon AVR-588 Receiver

Hi peroty,

Two suggestions for you.

1. If you look at the headphone jack connecton do you see one or two black O-rings or black lines on the jack. If you only see one they are Mono headphones and you would only get sound out of the left side. If there are two black lines they are stereo headphones and you should get sound on both the left & right sides.

2. If after checking the headphone jack connection and there are two black lines on it then I would suggest try a different pair of headphones to see if a different set of headphones works fine.

If a different pair of headphones works properly the original headphones may be bad. If neither set of headphones work properly it may be the reciever that may need to be repaired.

I hope it's not the receiver, but let me know if you have questions.
