Please explain about moving the wires up to the battery. I understand about checking the fuse. Am I looking for a loose fuse or loose wires? Please explain about the wiring and the battery.

some vehices will have extra wires that go to the battry pos and negitive posts some times those wires get loose or start to break and then the trouble starts ive seen moore cars and trucks have theese problems and its the most over looked thing in cars today.and when i say look at the wires always pull on them to make sure the are solid not loose if you find loose wires turn on lights and test for affect . hope this helps.

My automatic headlights stopped working on my 2009 Jeep Liberty. I can turn them on manually.

My 2008 jeep liberty's headlights flickered when I was just driving down the road in the dark and then completely shut off on me. My fog lights are the only lights that work now and my lights continue to blink off and on a couple times and then completely off. Now that this has happened my jeep will continue to lock and unlock itself and also my blowers for heat and cool air will not blow at all...

I heard a knocking the other day and now it died! Here is what some people have said the noise was....fly wheel on transmission, rod knocking. I have checked all fluids and they are fine. Any ideas?

Fly wheel will not cause a knock. Knocking may be caused by insufficient oil supply within the engine. This may be caused by a failed oil pump, excessive sludge build-up, faulty rod or main bearings. Did you notice the oil light for flickering or being lit while driving?? Is the engine able to spin when you are starting it??

Head lights flicker at night every once in a while.more and more recently. a couple of times every mile. all other dash and radio lights seamed fine. have not had any issues with day driving or starting.

Sounds like a ground issue to me. I would have the wiring checked for any ground issues. If its getting bad this could cause the flickering as you drive. This is what I ran into a while back. Hope this helps!!

2002 Jeep Liberty Blinking Headlights

LOL....Stealership is a good phrase..I'll remember that.

If you don't need the part IMMEDIATELY try going to www.autopartswarehouse.com they have everything and it's generally in stock.

Instead of ordering over the net call them....not every time, but generally they'll drop the price a few bucks, at least enough to help cover thier reaslitic shipping charges...NO B.S.

I paid $6.95 to have a Tonneau Cover for one of my pick-ups shipped to my house.

I hope this helps, by the way Jeep is well known for headlight switch issues.

I hope this helps, let me know what you think about the web site.

I am in NO way connected to the warhouse financially or otherwise.

Thanks for letting FixYa.com fix ya

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 4.7 speedometer flips around when headlights are on bad, and rarely when they are not on.

Sounds like a "bad" earth on the dash head unit. Also check enging to chassis earths, gearbox to chassis, battery to chassis etc.

2002 Jeep Liberty headlights blink

I have the same problem. I had it when I turned on my Blinker and turned. When the switch in the steering wheel turn the blinker off it made my head lights blink sometimes. It has to do with the switch that controls the blinker and the head lights. It does not happen all the time.
