Question about Vacuums
Detach the wand from the hose and see if you have suction from the hose itself. It is more often the blockage is in the corrugations of the hose than in the wand, but also check the elbows of any tools attached to the wand and look thru the wand itself..
Anything caught in the hose should be sucked backward with another vac.
Try opening the dust container, remove the bag if there is one and drop a coin through the hose to locate blockage. The coin will come to rest against the blockage if there is any or drop thru..
If you shake the hose you will locate the blockage by feeling the vibration of the coin against the wall of the hose.This will pinpoint your problem area.
Caution rough use with a wire coat hanger could damage the hose and broomsticks get stuck. Use another vac if the hose is blocked.
