Refrigerator cool freezer not as cold as it should be

I have a GE ss cubic ft SXS. The refrigerator cools and the freezer does not cool enough. The repaiman says that it the motherboard. I had a 3 hr. power outage that morning. 5 hrs after the power came on, icream was melting and other things were thawing. 24 hrs later the freezer seemed to be cold. Can the motherboard be a problem? I am asking the power company to replace the refrigerator.

Try turning of the frige and let it be of for 1day then put back on and see if will works usally does,if not next usally is the compressor does give enough cold.motherboards dont go bad usally very rare,check all the above before you buy motherboard.please leave comment,vote,note.thankyou
