Try the dc plug too (also make sure the battery connections are good in the caste). IF still no power up, the internal battery may be shorted. Lots of info online for replacing the internal battery. Good Luck!

For about six months my bosch table saw has imtermitent motor problems sometimes it works other times it doesn't now the motor is smoking how do i get a new motor

Parts diagram is here.

Looks like you can't just buy a new motor.

Service center locator is here. Click the Portable Electric & Battery Power Tools button. Put in your zip code and you can call around to see who can fix you up the quickest.

It looks like warranty on this saw is one year. Depending on how old your saw is, it may even be covered under warranty.

Try leaving it on for a few days on cig lighter with unit ON. gps III plus has a rechargeable valadium battery soldered to the board on the inside of the unit to hold memory of your waypoints. You can solder a new one in for about 5 buks-it may need a new one but try charging it first

Acquiring satellites

Garmin has a history of internal rechargeable battery problems that go back at least as far as the GPS III Plus. There is a button cell battery in the GPS III that is used to help it "remember" where to search for satellites (according to their tech department). It was supposed to have a 10 year life, but mine failed after 6 and they would not repair the unit. The unit would eventually operate, but as soon as power was turned off, it would lose all routes, waypoints, etc. That is not my idea of a good deal.
The 276C has a similar problem; if you leave it off of the charger for more than a day or so, the MAIN battery is fine, but the unit will not find satellites. There is a software fix for this if you have an older unit but it really doesnt fix it; the fix simply forces the unit into a mode that says "STORED WITHOUT BATTERIES" which is a misnomer; my batteries were in and charged, but I think what they meant is - the internal battery bit it.
If you reset the unit by holding the POWER button and the ZOOM OUT BUTTON at the same time, the entry screen will pop up. Accept the conditions and the unit will attempt to power up. I have had mixed success with this technique. The BEST technique is to LEAVE THE UNIT ON THE CHARGER at all times when it is not in use!!!!
Also go to their site and make sure that you have the latest software 5.4 and save your waypoints, tracks, etc., before you download the new software.

Garmin GPS III LCD screen problem

I have a GPSII+ that has a screen problem. Several of the x and y coordinates have failed and I think it is due to condensation in the unit due to hot day temps then cold nights. If I open it and dry out the unit for a while... the display will be better but will not return to full display. Some of the X and Y lines don't work.

GPS Garmin Venture Cx doesn't operate

With the unit off, pull the batteries out. Hold the power button in for about 10-12 seconds. Put the batteries back in and try again to power up like normal.
