H95, H97, H98 or H99 mean that there's a problem with your inverter, magnetron, or digital programming circuit.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

H97 error code micro panasonic

It is either the magnetron, the DPC board, or the High voltage inverter. Please be very careful with the inverter. The high voltage can kill you. You must discharge the capacitor. I recommend buying a new microwave. By the time you pay for parts and labour, it will cost you the same.

Microwave keeps shutting off after a few seconds and error number H97 shows up on display pad. What does this error mean?

Error code H97 is an indication of a possible failure of the Magnetron, DPC board or the High Voltage Inverter board. It could be just a loose wire connection also between the DPC board and the High Voltage Inverter board.

This failure will require a service technician to diagnose and repair.

My Microsoft says H97 and won't start running and goes back to H97.

The "H97" error means that the microwave's inverter has shorted out and does not work any more. The microwave cannot transfer power to create heat, and the part has malfunctions and requires replacement. Use your microwave serial number and Panasonic customer service to find the proper part for the microwave.
